R.I.P. Kaisy

This morning I woke up with a very heavy heart, broken and it hit me more as I stepped onto the train with uncontrollable tears running down my face. Kaisy Knotts one of the bravest girls i knew and also the one that showed us the path to Mexico gained her angel wings and joined Kaleigh in heaven. Kaleigh will be waiting for her at the gates with a smile and open arms to play UNO again (a bigger sister to look after her).

Despite Kaleigh leaving us almost 3 months ago, the journey hasn’t got any easier and makes me more determined to help find the cure. Please I beg of everybody, don’t ignore these rare cancers and do what you can to help. No family should need to fight alone and in my eyes going home to make memories in this day and age is unacceptable. If you ever consider fundraising please consider doing it for DIPG or any form of the rare cancers.

This journey is such an emotional roller coaster, yesterday on a high for completing 10 miles, then smashed back down to earth with the news of Kk. Biggest graditude to Melany Knott’s for showing Team Kaleigh the way and giving Kaleigh the extra 16 months she deserved. Sending our strongest love at such a devastating time.

Scott.
